More Baby Goats

Some day in the not too distant future I will get in here and put some text to all these pictures.  Also soon, I plan to take nice pictures of all the babies, maybe even the whole herd.  We'll see . . . .

The final batch of babies was started off by Fuzzy.  She had two on June 13 out in the pasture.  We quickly rounded them up, and her, and tucked them safe into the barn.  She had a very cute little salt & pepper girl, who I have now decided I shall call Pepper (above), and this cute guy down below, who most likely will not get a name, as the boys in my herd usually end up on the table.

Cashew went next the very next day and had a couple of cute brown doelings in two different colors.  Cashew and my buck Betelgeuse make very pretty babies.

Last one, on the next day, was Biscotti, who is Cashew's mom.  She had triplets, two girls and a boy.  They all have their mamma's floppy ears.

The bonus to all this goat kid production is the harvest of wonderful, delicious goat milk.  I am now getting about a half gallon a day.  Let the cheese making commence.
