A Hard-Earned Score

Above I am very happy for finally connecting with a bunny. Seneca and I, Rich, and Thomas worked this very thick patch for well over an hour. We must have flushed quite a few bunnies, and she gave chase, but just didn't contact. Coming very close to wanting to throw the towel in for the day, one final chase ensued, ending in a catch. For this particular situation, thank goodness for the snow. Seneca dived into that thick grass tussock for her bunny, and if not for the trail, it would have been a bit more difficult to find her.
 

I like this bird! I'd like to see what a second season can do for us.
